Mark Linkous joined Thompson Insurance in 1997 working under his father-in-law, and has owned the agency since 1998. In 1999, Mark bought Roger Glass Insurance, and Glass Thompson Insurance was born. Today, Mark continues to oversee all of the agency's operations. His favorite part of working with Glass Thompson is the relationships that he has developed through the agency both with his clients and his coworkers.
He has two children, John and Laura, and in his free time Mark loves cycling and following politics. Mark is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture and grew up in Wolfe County near the Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park.
Tina is a lifelong resident of Metcalfe County. She first joined Glass Thompson in 1998, and left when she completed her Bachelors of Science from Western Kentucky University in 2002. However, she returned in 2016, and now manages the agency as well as handling personal lines. Tina’s favorite part of working in insurance is the variety of people she meets and works with every day.
Tina and her husband, Matt, have two sons, Luke and Isaac. When she's not working or keeping up with her boys’ busy schedules, Tina enjoys nothing more than sitting on the beach with a good book.

Melinda Cornell was the agency manager of the Roger Glass Agency until she and her agency joined Thompson Insurance to form Glass Thompson. After almost forty years in the insurance industry, Melinda's favorite part of working at Glass Thompson is the opportunity she has to help people every day through her work with business and Commercial policies.
On the weekends, Melinda can be found out with her horses, boating, spending time with family, or crafting her famous, hand-made cards which are adored by all who receive them. Although she rarely has the time, Melinda also loves to dance, and is an avid fan of the TV series Once Upon A Time.
John Ray Ford
Personal Lines Accounts Manager
John Ray Ford joined Glass Thompson in 2006 after working for Dallas Cavanah and Paul Shade for eleven years. He handles home and farm policies, and serves as our claim manager. His favorite part about working in insurance is being able to give people peace of mind that if something happened, he would take care of them. John Ray walked with the first graduating class of Metcalfe County's current high school and went on to receive a degree in History and Business Management from Western Kentucky University.
John Ray now lives in Glasgow with his wife Kara Shive Ford and their son. He enjoys hiking with his family, running, and watching Kentucky basketball. In fact, John Ray has not missed a Kentucky basketball game since 1989 having watched, heard, or attended over nine hundred consecutive games.
Justin Bruce is the newest member of the Glass Thompson team having joined in August of 2015. After graduating from Metcalfe County High School, Justin proudly served our country in the Army for four years. While in the service, he worked detail at two Presidential inaugurations and served as a pallbearer for the last veteran of World War I.
Now a husband and a father of three, Justin is earning a degree in elementary education at Western Kentucky University in addition to working at Glass Thompson. On the weekends, he loves nothing more than to be outdoors usually hunting or fishing.
Ben Ralston is the newest member of the Glass Thompson team. Ben is a proud graduate of Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science. Ben is married to Robyn Orr, a preschool teacher at Red Cross Elementary. They have two children, Ty age 4 and Elizabeth Jane age 11 months. They currently reside in Glasgow and attend First United Methodist Church.
Ben was an Account Executive for Universal Packaging covering the Central Kentucky area for 3 years. Additionally, he has 6 years in Property Management experience in addition to working for an electrical contractor. His goal is to build relationships with not just clients, but the community as well. Ben loves living and working in South Central Kentucky and wants to earn the trust of the individuals, families and businesses of the area.
